Hey, I’m Jeff. I’ve been working as a full-time Winnipeg videographer and headshot photographer for over 14 years, creating everything from commercial videos and television content to professional portraits and personal brand shoots.
I’m still just as obsessed with cameras, lighting, creative storytelling, and all the gear and tech that go with it as I was on day one. Over the years, I’ve worked with businesses and creators across Winnipeg and beyond - and now I’m excited to share what I’ve learned to help you build your skills, confidence, and technical understanding behind the camera.
Hands-On Learning Experience
You’ll work on real-world video projects like filming interviews, creating engaging social media content, and capturing smooth, cinematic b-roll using tools such as tripods, gimbals, and sliders. Along the way, you’ll develop essential skills in storytelling, content planning, and camera movement that help your videos stand out with confidence and creativity.
On the photography side, you’ll learn how to take professional-quality headshots and portraits. From lighting setups and posing tips to camera settings and photo editing, you’ll gain the hands-on experience needed to capture clean, flattering images every time. Shoot on an iPhone instead of a camera? Fantastic — we’ll be covering that too!
In both video and photo editing, you’ll get familiar with tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and CapCut for video, along with Lightroom and Photoshop for photo editing. We’ll also explore the latest AI-powered tools to speed up your workflow and unlock new creative possibilities - no prior experience required.

For the beginner classes, you’ll need a DSLR, mirrorless, or any camera capable of manual settings, as well as a laptop or tablet for editing. While I provide equipment during lessons, having your own gear will help you practice and get the most out of the course. You'll also learn about different gear options suitable for various levels of content creation.

Refund and Cancellation Policy
1. Before the Course Starts:
Full Refund: If canceled 14 days or more before the start date.
No Refund: If canceled less than 14 days before the start date.
2. Monthly Payment Plan:
Stopping Payments: If a student cancels 14 days or more before the next month's payment, no further charges will be made for the following months.
No Refund for the Current Month: If canceled less than 14 days before the next month's payment, the student will still be charged for the upcoming month, but no further payments will be taken after that.
Non-Refundable Payments: Payments for the current or previous months are non-refundable, even if the student drops out midway through the month.
3. One-on-One Sessions:
Rescheduling: Requires 48 hours' notice. Sessions canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable.
Full Refund: Available if canceled 7 days or more in advance.
4. Special Circumstances:
Refunds or credits for future courses may be offered in special cases of emergency at the discretion of the studio.
